Just a short and sweet post about my new project – The Six String Academy. If you want to learn guitar online then this is probably the best thing you can check out.

Basically the site is run by me and a good friend – Jonah Snyder, and we’ve put together a series of videos for beginners and intermediate players that want to increase their skills and play better. We’re both university graduates of guitar programs and we’ve got over 20 years teaching experience between the two of us (not to mention over 30 years of playing experience!).
Right now the entire thing is COMPLETELY FREE! We need people to help us out and tell us what’s working, what’s not etc… We will be charging a membership at some point but if you get in now you’ll never be charged.
It’s going to include:
- Series of video lessons for beginners
- Workout and technical routines for intermediate players
- Fingerstyle, Rock, Classical, Country music
- Lessons for both acoustic and electric players
- User Forums
- Access to Jonah and Myself personally for private lessons
